Thursday evening, Sturgis Rally Charities made its yearly donations to organizations of the Sturgis Area. For the very first time, all organizations that put in an application received at least a portion of their request.

American Motorcyclist Association Announces 2011 AMA Motorcyclist Of The Year

Mayor's Ride Donates $11,000 to Sturgis Fire Department, $3000 to Sturgis Police Department Reserves and $1000 to National Fallen Firefighter's Foundation

Sturgis, SD - The City of Sturgis Rally Department is pleased to announce that the 9th Annual Sturgis Mayor's Ride held Monday, August 8th, during the 2011 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, raised $11,000 for the Sturgis Volunteer Fire Department, $3000 for the Sturgis Police Department Reserves and $1000 for the National Fallen Firefighter's Foundation

AMD Affiliate Event in South Africa

AMD WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP OF CUSTOM BIKE BULDERS' has been contracted to CTBF as an affiliated part of their world-renowned competition.  The Biker Build-Off encourages local bike builders, to show off their creative skills.  The winner will be flown with their winning design to the 72nd Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally to compete against the rest of the world's top bike builders.

Nominations Being Accepted For The Sturgis Museum & Hall Of Fame

It is time again for the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame to accept the 2012 nominations for both the Museum and Freedom Fighter's Hall of Fames. Hall of Fame candidates for consideration are individuals, organizations and businesses that have made positive and significant impacts to motorcycling. The Freedom Fighters Hall of Fame recognizes an individual's impact through their work in grassroots rights efforts.

911 Rememberance Ceremony Draws Crowd of 500

The 911 Rememberance Ceremony at the Center of the Nations Monument in Belle Fourch, SD, brought together a crowd of 500 to honor and remember those who lost their lives in the attacks on the World Trade Center Towers and those who lost their lives in the 10 years since.
